Sustainable Path to Net Zero-The African Way; A pre-COP28 Technical Worshop

The Society of Petroleum Engineers- Ghana Section, in collaboration with Eco-Africa, Petroleum Hub Development Corporation, and Africa Centre for Energy Policy successfully staged the 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐂𝐎𝐏 𝟐𝟖 workshop, '𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐍𝐞𝐭-𝐙𝐞𝐫𝐨; 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐲,' drawing diverse participants to deliberate on Ghana's sustainability challenges.

The event which was hosted at the Africa Centre for Energy Policy, Accra, accentuated the nation's commitment to the Paris Agreement and presented Ghana's Energy Transition Plan. In-depth discussions shed light on the urgent climate change issues, contributing to a rich exchange of ideas.

Participants left inspired and equipped with practical solutions to contribute to the global sustainability agenda. The workshop underscored Ghana's readiness for 𝐂𝐎𝐏 𝟐𝟖 in 𝐔𝐀𝐄 - a stepping stone towards a sustainable future.
